King Mohammed VI after conducting talks with his counterpart Jordanian King Abdullah II visited the Zaatari camp where the Royal Moroccan army (FAR)have been deployed for monthswith a field hospital, to treat the wounded from the ongoing civil war in Syria.
King inspected military installations and Moroccan medical personnel, visited the sick and injured, in the Moroccan hospital, which has treated tens of thousands of Syrian refugees since its establishment.
The Monarch also provided aid, medicines and blankets, financed by the Moroccan agency of international cooperation and the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity.
According to the London newspaper Al Quds Al Arabi, Syrian refugees camp, had gathered on the King's Highway, chanting "Long live Morocco, and shouted to the direction of the sovereign," The people asked for weapons for the Free Syrian Army."
