According to the Moroccan finance ministry, the accord, which provides additional legal security for Moroccan and Vietnamese investors, aims to promote the flow of trade and investment between the two countries.
During the course of the meeting, both ministers underlined the quality of political relations between Morocco and Vietnam and expressed their hope that the agreement would serve to provide a new impetus for bilateral cooperation, notably in the economic and commercial areas.
The Moroccan minister emphasized that in order to achieve this goal, a greater involvement of economic operators in both countries is required.
Concluding his remarks, Vietnam’s deputy foreign affairs minister reiterated his government’s commitment to working together with the Moroccan government to further strengthen bilateral cooperation between Morocco and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
