On this 48th edition, we will record participation of 54 Tunisian artists, 10 of the Arab world and 13 international artists, knowing that the total cost of the festival was estimated at three million five hundred thousand dinars, which constitute 40 percent participation of the Ministry Culture. To encourage citizens to attend the daily program, we set the price of subscriptions to 200 dinars for individuals and families for 400 dinars, while tickets for various performances vary between ten and twenty dinars, except two galas which are thirty dinars.
Fathi M. Kharrat said meanwhile that the opening show of this edition will be provided by thirty beautiful voices sing Tunisian who the big names in the Tunisian song and the closing party will be one hundred percent with the provision of Tunisia the singer-composer-lutenist Dhafer Youssef and that for the first time, the Carthage festival will host an opera by the Rome Symphony Orchestra on July 9th. The Arab world will be represented, among others, by the ghosts Najoua Karam, Kadhem Saher, Ramy Ayech and Marcel Khalifa. The singer Slah Mosbah, who attended the conference, has meanwhile claimed the presence of Tunisian artist in our festivals as a right and a patriotic duty.
From 16 August until the end of the month, there will be a film cycle with famous Tunisian and foreign movies in the amphitheater of Carthage (3D projection for some) to be followed by discussions.
